Archdeaconry Mission Grants

Part of this tranche of Mission Fund money has been delegated to Archdeaconries for their use in promoting mission. The Archdeacons are establishing small Archdeaconry Mission Fund Groups to administer these grants: they will be up and running by the Autumn and decisions how to use this money rest with them. The fund is reluctant to offer continuation funding for long term projects so your application should show how work done might be able to continue after a grant is withdrawn.

It will be for Archdeaconry groups to decide whether to support a small number of larger projects or to offer more numerous smaller grants.

You may wish to have a look at the application form for Archdeaconry grants. Feel free to do so but before you spend too long filling in the form it would be wise to speak to your Archdeacon about your project’s chances of success and funds available.
