Back to Church Sunday 2012

Back to Church Sunday in 2012 is on 30th September.

If you're wondering what it's all about and how to get involved there's an introductory meeting with Bishop Justin on Monday 28th May, 7pm at Auckland Castle.

For both new parishes and those who have participated before, there is a training day on Saturday 23rd June from 10am - 3.30pm at Durham High School for Girls. This will be led by Michael Harvey, one of the founders of BTCS, who comes to us highly recommended. He will be helping us to explore how to be an inviting and welcoming church particularly encouraging us to explore issues around "inviting".

Anyone wanting more information can cantact Judy Hirst by emailing  judy.hirst@durham.anglican.org

To book for the Training day on 23rd June click here to download a booking form return it to Mrs P J Wilson, Diocesan Resource Team, Carter House, Pelaw Leazes Lane, Durham, DH1 1TB or e-mail pamela.wilson@durham.anglican.org by Monday 14th May.

Since the first BTCS in 2004 it has grown beyond all expectations and is now the largest single local-church invitational initiative in the world.
