Experiencing God's Love: Five Images of Transformation by Steven Croft
This is a short study guide exploring five biblical images of the ways in which our lives are changed by walking with Christ: being rooted in prayer; cleansed through baptism, confession and forgivness; enlightened through worship, mission and growth in holiness; tended through care for one another and the world; welcomed in the eucharist and in the fellowship of the church. As well as being splored through the psalms and the gospels it is also supported by You Tube clips. This book is ideal for small groups and contains discussion starters and a leaders guide.

Handing on the Torch - Sacred words for a secular world written by Canon John Young.
This is the new York Course for 2012. Over the years this series has proved a huge success. It features Archbishop Sentamu, clifford Longley and Rachel Lampard with Bishop Graham Cray providing the closing reflections and Dr David Hope the Introduction.

Finding a Voice: A Lent Course on the film 'The King's Speech'
Finding a Voice is a new and original Lent course by Hilary Brand. Taking the film, The King's Speech, as a starting point, the course explores the ways in which fear holds us back and examines how we, like Bertie, can face and overcome our fears and begin to find our authentic voice.
The course is based around five weekly group sessions which each includes extracts from the film, group discussion questions, exercises and meditations. There are also short introductory and follow up chapters, with related Bible passages, for individual reading each week. Also included is a suggested follow up session, along with full notes for leaders.

Christ and the Chocolaterie: A Lent Course using the movie 'Chocolat'
‘Christ and the Chocolaterie’ is the original, innovative and lively Lent course based on the story and characters of the Oscar nominated ‘Chocolat’ from the bestselling novel by Joanne Harris.

Using the Oscar nominated movie ‘Chocolat’ as its starting point, Hilary Brand explores questions about God, the world, and what it means to be as truly human as God intended.

In five group sessions, ‘Christ and the Chocolaterie’ opens up the themes of the life changing opportunities that Lent presents to the Christian through a better understanding and application of the Bible:

• Giving up – the prelude to change.
• Giving out – the power of a gift to change.
• Getting wise – accepting the possibility of change.
• Getting real – the power of acceptance.
• Growing up – the process of real life change.

Each section refers to scenes from the film, questions to start discussion, practical exercises and meditations. Each weekly session leads into suggestions for individual reading, meditation and further Bible study.
